Private Consulting & Painting Sessions
Do you need help planning a project or fixing a specific technical problem? I can help! I now offer private consultations and assisted painting sessions a few days a month to fit your schedule. Take advantage of one-on-one time with me to customize your own course and work at your own pace.
Examples of topics you might want to cover include:
- Assisted painting, where I can offer a combination of learning techniques and creating finished works
- Practicing specialized techniques such as incorporating photography or painting on paper
- Mastering fusing with torches for faster and more precise work
- Creating visual journals to use as inspiration when you're stuck
- Tips for setting up your home studio on a budget
- Choosing encaustic paints to create on your own personal color palette
- How and why you might want to start painting in a series
- Options for preparing boards, finishing edges and framing finished work
- What to consider when working on large encaustic paintings
- How to get started showing and selling your work
To arrange a private session with me first purchase the appropriate time block below and enter the topics you'd like to cover. You can always email me with more details about what you'd like to accomplish during our time together. Sessions will be held my private studio in NE Portland and are $75/hour with a minimum of 3 hours. Learning the basics of a new technique usually takes about 3 hours.
All supplies will be provided unless previously discussed. Confirmation, directions to my studio and additional information will be emailed to each student upon registration. Please note, I only offer a few private consultation sessions a month so they fill quickly.
If you have trouble registering online please contact me at (503) 348-9139 or waxx@ lindarobertsonarts.com. Sessions must be paid for in full by cash, check or credit card prior to the class to confirm your spot. When your payment is received you will be emailed a confirmation notice and a map to my studio in NE Portland. I look forward to creating with you!
Cancellation and Liability Policies
- Cancellation 7 days before the class date = full refund minus PayPal fees or may change to another class.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before the class date or no show = no refund.
If the workshop is canceled by the instructor, you will receive a full refund. If another instructor must be substituted for Linda Robertson due to illness or emergency you will have the option to attend the class with the substitute instructor or cancel/reschedule without penalty.
Should any injuries occur during or as a result of participation in any class or workshop, the registered student agrees to indemnify
and hold harmless Linda Robertson and all employees, instructors and volunteers connected with Linda Robertson Arts.
