Private Mentoring Sessions
Do you need help setting up your home studio or fixing a specific technical problem? I can help! Grab a mug of something good and join me on Zoom for a virtual studio visit.
I offer mentoring sessions to fit your schedule. Take advantage of some rare one on one time with me to make the most of your creative outlets.
Examples of topics you might want to cover include:
- Accountability to help you keep a consistent creative practice
- Creating visual journals to use as inspiration when you're stuck
- Choosing encaustic paints to create your own personal color palette
- Assisted painting, where I offer a combination of learning techniques, creating finished works, and gentle reviews
- Troubleshooting specialized techniques such as incorporating photography or working with shellac
- Mastering fusing with torches for faster and more precise work
- Tips for setting up your home studio on a budget
- How and why you might want to start painting in a series
- Special considerations when working on larger encaustic paintings
- How to get started showing and selling your work in galleries or online
To arrange a private mentoring session with me, first purchase the appropriate package below.
Most sessions will be held by phone or over Zoom for video conferencing. Consultations for in-person studio set-up are possible, depending on current CDC protocols. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
If you need a shorter session or prefer to work within a community, then my group mentoring sessions might be perfect for you.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation 48 hours before the session time = full refund minus PayPal fees or may change to another time.
- Cancellation less than 48 hours before the session time or no show = no refund.
If the session is canceled by the instructor, you will receive a full refund. Should any injuries occur during or as a result of participation in any session, the registered student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Linda Robertson and all employees, instructors and volunteers connected with Linda Robertson Arts.
